Sustainability in Small Businesses Presentation

I was invited to speak to a group of University of Ulster graduates and early-stage business founders about making sustainability practical and achievable. The session explored how small, manageable changes - alongside recording and tracking progress  can help businesses become more sustainable without added pressure. The audience response was overwhelmingly positive, with testimonials highlighting the session as inspiring, practical, and easy to apply.

'I have learnt alot about how to make a business more sustainable. As a business that doesn't produce a physical product, there are still methods of being sustainable such as travel methods to work. Angeline also gave great advice on how to manage your social media presence.'

Fashion Forever Festival - Sustainability Talk

I delivered an inspiring sustainability talk in Portadown to hundreds of attendees, exploring how sewing at home can support a more sustainable lifestyle while also promoting mindfulness and wellbeing.

The talk highlighted how simple acts of making and mending can reduce waste, slow consumption, and create meaningful moments of calm in everyday life.

Attendees were encouraged to reconnect with sewing as an accessible, creative skill that benefits both the planet and the mind.

Craft and Sewing Demonstrations

I have hosted hands-on sewing demonstrations across Northern Ireland, most recently in Armagh, creating welcoming spaces where people of all ages could get involved. Participants were guided through simple sewing techniques and had the opportunity to make a small handmade item to take home. These sessions encouraged creativity, confidence, and connection, leaving attendees with both a finished gift and a positive, memorable experience of making.
